1. Powered by 2*D cell(1.5V) batteries, each set ensuring efficient operation for 4-6 months. Regular checks are advised, and removal is necessary if the ground becomes waterlogged or frozen to maintain optimal performance.
2. Initial use requires battery installation: For optimal performance, we recommend high-quality batteries. The unit requires 2*D cell batteries. Install the unit in areas with loose soil, like vegetable gardens or flower beds, and ensure the top is firmly secured for waterproofing.
3. Installation method: Excavate a hole in the pest-affected area; avoid hammering the unit into the ground to prevent damage. Gently place the unit into the hole, ensuring the soil covers up to two-thirds of the unit (excluding the detachable top).
4. Coverage area varies with soil type: Heavy clay soil provides the maximum coverage, while light sandy soil offers the least. Generally, coverage is approximately 650 square meters.
