The Vibrating Mole Repeller ingeniously emits a low-frequency sound that propagates through the ground in a circular pattern. Moles detect these vibrations and are compelled to move away, ensuring a pest-free area.
Please note, the vibration's reach can be obstructed by solid objects like building foundations. However, the protective coverage extends outward in a circular radius from the unit.
1. Power supplied by 4*D cell (1.5V) batteries. A single set should last between 4-6 months. Periodically check and replace if the ground becomes waterlogged or frozen to ensure peak performance.
2. Before initial use, install the batteries: For optimal efficiency, use high-quality batteries. The unit takes 4*D cell batteries. Position in areas with loose soil, such as vegetable gardens or flower beds for best results.
Always secure the top tightly to maintain watertight integrity, preventing potential damage from moisture.
3. Installation Instructions: Dig a hole in the area frequented by pests. Do not hammer the unit into the ground to avoid damage; instead, it should be placed carefully.
Gently position the unit into the prepared hole, ensuring soil reaches up to 2/3 of the unit (excluding the removable top) for effective placement.
4. Coverage Area: The effectiveness varies with soil type. Heavy clay soils offer the greatest coverage, while light sandy soils provide less. On average, coverage is around 650 square meters.
