The Vibrating Snake Repeller operates by emitting low-frequency sound waves that create ground vibrations in a circular pattern. This vibration is detectable by rodents, prompting them to move away. Be aware that the vibration can be obstructed by solid structures like building foundations. The coverage extends in a circular area from the unit.
1. Power is supplied by 2*D cell (1.5V) batteries, and a set typically lasts between 4-6 months. Regularly check the device and remove the batteries if the ground becomes waterlogged or frozen.
2. Initial Setup: Install the batteries before first use. We recommend using high-quality batteries for optimal performance. The unit requires 2*D cell batteries and should be placed in an area with loose soil, such as a vegetable garden or flower bed. Ensure the top is securely fitted for watertight protection.
3. Installation Instructions: Dig a hole in the area where pests are detected; avoid hammering the unit into the ground as this can cause damage. Carefully insert the unit into the hole, making sure the soil reaches up to 2/3 of the unit (excluding the removable top).
4. Coverage Area: The effectiveness depends on soil type. Heavy clay soil offers the greatest coverage, while light sandy soil provides the least. Typically, the coverage is around 650 square meters.
