1. Powered by 2*D cell (1.5V) batteries, each set can last 4-6 months. Regular checks are advised, particularly avoiding use in waterlogged or frozen conditions.
2. Initial use requires battery installation: Opt for high-quality batteries for optimal performance. The unit needs 2*D cell batteries. Place it in loose soil, such as a vegetable garden or flower bed. Ensure the top is secure and watertight.
3. Installation instructions: Dig a hole in pest-prone areas. Avoid using force when inserting the unit to prevent damage. Gently place the unit into the hole, ensuring soil reaches 2/3 of its height (excluding the removable top).
4. Coverage area varies with soil type: Dense clay soil provides maximum coverage, while sandy soil offers the least. Typical coverage is approximately 650 square meters.
