However, solid structures like building foundations can obstruct these vibrations. The protective radius extends in a circular pattern from the unit.
1. Powered by 2*D cell (1.5V) batteries, each set provides power for approximately 4-6 months. Regular checks are advised, and batteries should be removed if the ground becomes waterlogged or frozen.
2. Battery Installation Guide: Before initial use, install the batteries as follows. We recommend high-quality batteries for optimal performance. Insert 2*D cell batteries and place the unit in an area with loose soil, such as a vegetable garden or flower bed. Ensure the top is tightly secured to maintain its watertight integrity.
3. Installation Instructions: Dig a hole in the pest-prone area. Avoid hammering the unit into the ground to prevent damage. Carefully position the unit in the hole, ensuring the soil is filled up to 2/3 of the unit's height (excluding the removable top).
4. Coverage area varies with soil type: Dense clay soil provides the most extensive coverage, while light sandy soil offers less. Typically, the effective area spans approximately 650 square meters.
