The Vibrating Snake Repeller generates low-frequency sounds that create ground vibrations in a circular pattern. These vibrations, detected by rodents, prompt them to vacate the area. Note that solid structures, like building foundations, can obstruct these vibrations. The coverage extends in a circle from the device.
1. Powered by 2*D cell (1.5V) batteries, this set of batteries is designed to last between 4-6 months. Regular checks are essential, especially if the ground becomes waterlogged or frozen.
2. Initial setup involves battery installation: We advise using high-quality batteries. The unit requires 2*D cell batteries. It should be placed in an area with loose soil, such as a vegetable garden or flower bed. Ensure the top is securely fitted and watertight.
3. Installation process in the ground: Dig a hole in the pest-afflicted area. Avoid hammering the unit into the ground to prevent damage. Insert the unit carefully into the hole, making sure the soil reaches 2/3 of the unit's height (excluding the removable top).
4. Coverage area varies with soil type: Heavy clay soil offers the maximum coverage, while light sandy soil provides the least. Typically, it covers around 650 square meters.
