1. Powered by 4*D cell (1.5V) batteries, with each set lasting approximately 4-6 months. Regularly check and remove batteries if the ground becomes waterlogged or frozen.
2. Prior to your first use, install the batteries: It is advisable to use high-quality batteries. Insert 4*D cell batteries and position the unit in an area with loose soil, such as a vegetable garden or flower bed.
