1. Powered by 2*D cell (1.5V) batteries, this device boasts a battery life of 4-6 months per set. Regularly check and remove the batteries if the soil becomes excessively wet or frozen to maintain optimal performance.
2. Initial Setup: When using for the first time, install 2*D cell high-quality batteries. We recommend placing the unit in areas with loose soil, such as vegetable gardens or flower beds. Ensure the top is fitted securely to keep it watertight.
3. Installation Guide: Dig a hole in the pest-prone area, avoiding hammering the unit into the ground to prevent damage. Carefully place the unit in the hole, ensuring the soil reaches up to two-thirds of the unit, excluding the removable top.
4. Coverage Area: The reach of the device is influenced by soil type; heavy clay soil offers the maximum coverage, while light sandy soil provides the least. Typically, coverage is around 650 square meters.
