The Vibrating Mole Repeller operates by emitting a low-frequency sound that creates vibrations in a circular pattern, compelling moles to vacate the area.
These vibrations are obstructed by solid structures, such as building foundations, and the coverage extends in a circle from the device.
1. Powered by 4*D cell (1.5V) batteries, this device can function for 4-6 months per set of batteries. Regular checks are advisable, and removal is necessary if the ground becomes waterlogged or frozen.
2. Initial setup requires battery installation: It is recommended to use high-quality batteries. The unit requires 4*D cell batteries and should be placed in areas with loose soil, such as vegetable gardens or flower beds.
Ensure that the top is securely fitted to maintain a watertight seal.
3. Installation in the ground involves digging a hole in pest-prone areas; avoid hammering the unit into the ground to prevent damage.
Carefully position the unit into the hole, ensuring the soil reaches up to 2/3 of the unit's height (excluding the detachable top).
4. Coverage area is influenced by soil type; heavy clay soil offers maximum coverage, while light sandy soil offers minimal coverage, generally around 650 square meters.
