Rodents are highly sensitive to these vibrations and are naturally deterred, prompting them to vacate the area.
Note that the effectiveness of the vibration can be diminished by solid objects, like building foundations. The protective coverage spreads outward in a circular pattern from the device.
2. Empowered by 4*D cell (1.5V) batteries, this device offers an impressive lifespan, with each battery set lasting approximately 4-6 months. To ensure optimal performance, inspect the unit frequently and remove it if the ground becomes saturated or frozen.
3. Initial setup requires battery installation: It is recommended to use premium batteries for enhanced performance. The unit is designed to hold 4*D cell batteries.
For optimal functionality, position the device in areas with loose soil, such as vegetable gardens or flower beds. Ensure the top is tightly secured to maintain its water-resistant integrity.
4. Ground Installation Instructions: Carefully dig a hole in the pest-infested area. Avoid hammering the unit into the ground, as this may cause damage.
Gently place the unit into the pre-dug hole, ensuring that soil rises up to cover 2/3 of the unit (excluding the detachable top).
5. The extent of coverage is influenced by the soil type: Dense clay soil offers superior coverage, whereas light sandy soil provides minimal coverage. Typically, the coverage area is approximately 650 square meters.
