Please note, the vibration's range is impeded by solid structures like building foundations, though the coverage area extends in a circular zone from the device.
1. Powered by 2*D cell (1.5V) batteries, these should last an impressive 4-6 months. Regular checks are recommended to ensure battery integrity, especially if the ground becomes waterlogged or frozen.
2. Setting up for the first time involves installing the batteries: We recommend premium quality batteries for optimal performance. The unit requires 2*D cell batteries. Ideally, place the device in areas with loose soil, such as a vegetable garden or flower bed. Ensure the top is tightly fitted to remain watertight.
3. Installation procedure in the ground: Carefully dig a hole where pests are prevalent, avoiding hammering the unit into the ground to prevent damage. Gently position the unit into the hole, ensuring the soil level covers up to 2/3 of the unit (excluding the removable top).
4. Coverage capacity varies with soil type: Dense clay soil provides the maximum coverage area, while lighter sandy soil offers the least, typically covering approximately 650 square meters.
