Battery Instructions
Step 1. For initial use, deplete the built-in batteries completely. This is indicated by a continuously blinking red low-voltage indicator or lack of response.
Step 2. Connect to a standard USB output and use the provided USB cable to charge the device for 6-12 hours:
2.1: Variances in USB power output and battery activity can cause the red indicator to flash beyond 12 hours of charging. Despite this, the device can function normally once installed.
2.2: If the charging time is notably short, under 6 hours, yet the indicator shows complete charge (solid light), continue charging for at least 6 hours.
Step 3. Should the red indicator persistently flash or the device becomes unresponsive, repeat
Step 2., charging 6-12 hours. After 3-5 charge and discharge cycles, battery performance stabilizes, normalizing the charging indicator.
Step 4. Adhere to the three steps outlined above to fully optimize battery performance within the device.
SUITABLE ENVIRONMENT:
Avoid placing the device in extreme conditions.
Exposure to harsh environments could damage or impair critical components of the device.
Solar panel requirements: Air salinity should not exceed 3%. Operating temperatures: -20ºC to +85ºC.
Ni-Cd battery temperature range:
-10ºC to +45ºC (Charging not possible beyond -10ºC to +50ºC, and power output ceases beyond -20ºC to +60ºC).
Ni-MH battery temperature constraints:
Operating Temperature Range: The Ultrasonic Solar Repeller for Garden Protection Against Pests functions optimally from -18ºC to +65ºC. Please note that charging is only possible between 0ºC and +55ºC, while power output is maintained from -18ºC to +65ºC.
