1. The Vibrating Mole Repeller is designed to emit low-frequency sounds that create a circular ground vibration. This disturbance is detected by rodents, prompting them to vacate the area. Note that solid barriers, like building foundations, may obstruct these vibrations. The coverage extends in a radius around the unit. Equipped with a MOTOR: it perpetuates ground vibrations in circles, effectively urging moles to retreat. The device operates with a buzzer that activates every 3 seconds, resting for 30 seconds. After 10 repetitions, the motor engages for 3 seconds with a 30-second pause, cycling thrice before the buzzer resumes its cycle (buzzer activates 10 times, then motor 3 times).
2. Powered by four D-cell (1.5V) batteries, providing an operational lifespan of 4 to 6 months. Regularly inspect the unit and remove it during waterlogged or frozen conditions.
3. Featuring an accessible battery compartment, you can effortlessly replace the batteries without extracting the entire unit from the soil, enhancing user convenience.
4. Initial Setup: Prior to usage, install the batteries. It's advisable to use high-quality batteries. The unit requires 4*D cell batteries. Position the device in areas with loose soil, such as vegetable gardens or flower beds. Ensure the top is securely fitted to maintain waterproof integrity.
5. Installation Guide: Excavate a hole in pest-prone areas; avoid hammering the device into the ground to prevent damage. Gently place the unit into the hole, making sure the soil covers two-thirds of the unit (excluding the detachable top).
6. Coverage Efficiency: Performance varies with soil type—heavy clay soil offers maximum coverage, while light sandy soil provides minimal coverage. Typically, the effective area is approximately 650 square meters.
