1. Powered by 2*D cell (1.5V) batteries, with an expected lifespan of 4-6 months per set. Regularly inspect and remove batteries if the soil becomes saturated or frozen.
2. Initial setup requires installing batteries: It is advised to use premium quality batteries. The device uses 2*D cell batteries. Position it where the soil is loose, such as in a vegetable patch or flower garden. Ensure the top is tightly secured to maintain watertight integrity.
3. Installation guide: Dig a hole in areas where pests are active, avoid forcefully pressing the device into the ground as it may cause damage. Gently situate the unit into the hole, ensuring soil covers up to two-thirds of the device, excluding the detachable top.
