While the vibration's reach can be affected by obstacles such as building foundations, the coverage extends in a circle from the unit, ensuring an effective perimeter of protection.
1. Powered by 2*D cell (1.5V) batteries, this repeller provides 4-6 months of service per set. Regularly check the device and remove it if the ground becomes excessively waterlogged or frozen to maintain optimal performance.
2. Initial Setup: For the best performance, install high-quality batteries. The unit uses 2*D cell batteries. Place the device in an area with loose soil, such as a vegetable garden or flower bed. Ensure the top is securely fastened to make it watertight.
3. Installation Instructions: Carefully dig a hole in the area where pests are commonly seen. Refrain from hammering the unit into the ground to avoid damage. Insert the unit ensuring the soil covers up to 2/3 of the device (not including the removable top).
4. Coverage Considerations: The unit's effective range depends on the soil type-dense clay soil offers maximum coverage, while sandy soil provides minimal coverage. Typically, coverage is around 650 square meters.
